Pinner is a wonderful place for families with young children. There are many top-notch local primary-schools, which,  complemented by Pinner Shul’s Spark programme for supplementary Jewish Education on Sundays, allows young children in Pinner an excellent all-round education.

Pinner Shul has a warm and friendly atmosphere where children feel at home and are part of the community. Friendly, inclusive, relaxed services for all age groups take place every Shabbat morning and on festivals; visitors as well as local children are always very welcome.

The New Generation Committee collaborates with the Community Directors to plan a full calendar of events for Pinner’s children and young families, presenting opportunities for children to build friendships, learn and have fun. Programming is usually based around Jewish Festivals. Some popular events this year have been a Chanukah party with doughnut decorating, a Pizza in the Hut Succot party, and a honey cake baking pre-Rosh Hashana event.

Parents are not forgotten in the programming, and the New Generation Committee also run some exclusive 30s-50s events, such as a summer BBQ and cocktails evening, which is back by popular demand for the second year running.

The New Generation Committee and Community Directors were delighted by the arrival of Gesher School to Pinner this year, and are glad about the opportunity to collaborate with Gesher School (click here for further information about you can volunteer to help at Gesher School).
