This fascinating tractate addresses many issues around how and why we pray for rain, respond to tragedies through fast days and adjust the words of our time-honoured prayers in changing circumstances. The underlying message from the laws and stories of this tractate is that G-d generates events based on the actions of human beings.
All are welcome to participate, whether you’ve been to a Gemara Shiur before or not and I look forward to you joining me on our journey of study together.
